Soundtracks and Theme songs

Well, hello there! Ah, I think this post will be dedicated to music. But more specifically, instrumentals. Why, because they are AWESOME! Not just any instrumentals though, oh no. This post is dedicated to the epic instrumentals of Murray Gold, Escala, and more!
Let's just start off with the song "Requiem for a Tower" by Escala. It starts off so beautifully and sweet, and then  the more haunting low notes come in. Escala is a four string quartet made up of beautiful ladies who play fiercely with passion and emotion. This specific song has been used in commercials for "The Lord of The Rings" if you can't place your finger on it after listening. But, I will let you decide how powerful this song is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRsycxGgyuI.

The next song is "Vale Decem" composed by Murray Gold for the British Sci-fi drama, Doctor Who.
Now, this song might not hold as much sentimental value to you as it does to me, but it is an excellent composition. This song was composed for the scene where the Tenth Doctor is struggling to get to get to the TARDIS as he is regenerating, and the climax of the song ( which is to me the best part) is when he regenerates. Vale Decem, which was appropriately titled, means farewell ten in Latin. In this video it has the English translation as well, enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIW6CdgYDY0.

I think you will quite like this haunting theme tune. Yes, it is the Harry Potter theme song ( Hedwig's Theme).
Even if you do not like Harry Potter, the theme song is still very beautiful. But if you do like Harry Potter, it's even better. It holds so much sentiment for the people who grew up with Harry Potter. In the theme you can just picture Harry entering Hogwarts, Soaring above the trees on a broomstick, Encountering poltergeists and peculiar teachers. This composition is quite brilliant, and the composer is simply amazing. He captures everything so perfectly in one song. This song is truly timeless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCNHVMIYqiA.

Ah, The Lord of The Rings or LOTR. How can you not remember this theme song? It speaks the tale of Hobbits, and Dwarves, and the journey they make. If you haven't heard this song in a while, here is a refresher for you. One song that you should DEFINITELY add to your working out playlist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prZ4RWWku7Y.

Ever read the book the Great Gatsby? If you would prefer not to, you can always watch the movie. Well, this is just one song from a beautiful soundtrack from the motion picture based upon the book. It's lyrics "Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful" are moving and the song is lovely and bittersweet depending on your opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te11UaHOHMQ.

Well, these are just a few of many great soundtracks and theme songs out there. Comment what you think about them!
